Sevrado

Safety Center

How to trade safely on the portal — especially with private sales. A few simple rules protect you from fraud.

Hand over on pickup

Ideally pay only at the in-person handover and inspect the wheels closely beforehand.

Check the market price

Compare the price with similar offers. If a deal seems far too cheap, be cautious.

No advance payment to private sellers

Never wire money to private sellers up front without a secured handover. Reputable sellers accept cash on pickup.

Keep communication on the portal

Handle messages and arrangements through the portal chat — that keeps everything traceable.

A way to report problems

For dealer offers you pay via the cart and the platform checkout. If there is a problem with your order, report it directly on the order. Which details Sevrado checked for a dealer, and on which date, is listed under the “Verified dealer” label in the dealer profile. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Report anything suspicious

If you come across a dubious listing, report it right on the item page. We review every report.

A way to report problems

If there is a problem with your order, report it directly on the order. Report goods that did not arrive after the expected delivery date, at the latest 30 days later. The dealer has 3 business days (Monday to Friday) to reply. If the dealer does not help, you can involve Sevrado from the end of that period until the 21st business day after your report. Sevrado then decides according to these rules:

  1. NR1 · Not received, no tracking number

If the goods have not arrived after the expected delivery date and the dealer has not provided a tracking number, Sevrado decides in favour of the buyer. The dealer refunds the full amount of the sub-order.

  2. NR2 · Not received, delivery not proven

If the dealer provided a tracking number but the tracking does not prove delivery to the order's shipping address, Sevrado decides in favour of the buyer. The dealer refunds the full amount of the sub-order.

  3. NR3 · Delivery proven

If the tracking proves delivery to the order's shipping address, Sevrado decides in favour of the dealer and closes the case.

  4. NR4 · Agreement

If buyer and dealer have demonstrably reached an agreement, Sevrado records it and closes the case.

  5. NR5 · No reply from the dealer

If the dealer did not reply to the report within 3 business days, Sevrado decides in favour of the buyer. The dealer refunds the full amount of the sub-order.

Refunds after a decision are recovered from the dealer and paid out to you via Stripe. If the amount cannot be recovered from the dealer, you can still turn to your payment provider. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
